either person.  It states only that William Watson and Nancy Nutter were married in Harrison County on Oct 22, year not 
specified but context and sequence indicating 1840.  Other researchers, including Wes Cochran, have reported Oct 22 
1841.  The marriage date at first glance appears to be Mar 4 1841, with the Oct 22  entry pertaining to the previously 
listed couple .  But closer examination reveals the Oct 22 date to pertain to the marriage between William Watson & 
Nancy Nutter. MR Bk 3, p. 145.

Event Notes
Note (1) Don Norman gives birth as about 1791 in Harrison County, and age 59 in 1850
Census would also put it in about 1791.  But Hardesty states that Andrew Nutter
died in 1855 at the age of 61, which would make the birth year about 1794.
Note (2) The 1860 Census shows age as 35, putting birth in about 1825.  But the 1870
Census shows his age as 53, putting birth in about 1817, and the 1880 Census
shows his age as 63, also putting birth in about 1817.  Don Norman's
"Descendants of Christopher Nutter" reports birth date as 1818, corresponding to
age 74 in death record.
Note (3) Don Norman reports birth date as 1820.
Note (4) While her headstone shows a birth date of Apr 9 1828, researcher Don Norman
states her birth as 1816, and grandson John Washington Hart, in a family
information survey completed in 1931, reports it as Apr 9 1814.  But those two
dates are considered unlikely given the birth of her last child in 1871.
Note (5) Grandson John W. Hart, in a W. Guy Tetrick family information survey
completed in 1931, reports her date of death as Mar 24 1872.
Note (6) But headstone of wife states marriage date as Sep 22 1844.
