Event Notes Note (1) The obituaries of both Ernest and Florence give their marriage date as Oct 27 1917, but the marriage record, as completed by the officiating minister, states that the ceremony was held on Oct 28 1917 at "the residence of Evert Husk in Doddridge Co. W. Va." October 27th that year was a Saturday. Person providing information for the marriage license application was M. F. Husk. Note (2) Doddridge County birth records show her birth as Jun 29 1892 at Holbrook, which is just inside Ritchie County but is considered by many to be in Doddridge County and sometimes reported that way. This would explain why the birth record was filed in Doddridge County. SSDI also has birth date as Jun 29. But obituary states birth as Jun 19 1892 in Ritchie Co, and her headstone also has birth date as Jun 19 1892. Birth date in 1900 Census is Jun 1891. Note (3) SSDI incorrectly reports death date as Oct 15 1997.
