Event Notes
Note (1) Birthplace given in marriage record as Ritchie County.  But other records
show it as Doddridge County.  His WW II draft registration states Summers, but
his Social Security records indicate Greenwood, but his birth record shows it as
Holbrook, Doddridge County.  The community of Holbrook is located on the line
separating Doddridge and Ritchie counties and is usually considered to be
Ritchie County.  Just over the county line in Doddridge Coutny is the community
of Summers.
