But "Harrison County WV Marriages 1785-1894," p. 17, shows their marriage date as May 3 1804 in chronological sequence with other marriages. Note (2) Believed to be Joseph's second marriage. Note (3) Linder and Norman report birthdate as Jun 28 1786. Note (4) Minnie Kendall Lowther in "Ritchie County in History & Romance," p. 270, reports marriage date as Aug 29 1808, but "Harrison County WV Marriage 1785-1894," p. 26, shows it as Aug 29 1809, in chronological sequence with other marriages.
