But "Harrison County WV Marriages 1785-1894," p. 17, shows their marriage date as May 3 1804 in chronological sequence with other marriages. Note (3) "Ritchie County in History and Romance," p. 249, states that he was born on Saturday, May 27 1809. But age 46y 6m 13d on headstone would put birthdate at May 2 1809.
