    Obituary:
    Funeral services for Mrs. Evelyn Wingfield, 28, wife of Walter Wingfield, were conducted this week at the home of her parents, Oscar and Savannah (Ratcliff) Stewart, of Elkins, where she died following a lingering illness. Burial was in Elkins Cemetery.

    Mrs. Wingfield was a native of Glady and a member of Parsons Church of God. She had resided here for several months.

    Besides her parents and husband, she is survived by five children, Barbara, James, Paul, Julia and Frank Wingfield, ranging from eight to one year old; and five brothers, Arthur, Harper, Sampson and Leonard Stewart, all of Elkins, and Clifford Stewart of Baltimore.
