Informant: T. T. Law, son. (Note: Stated birthplace is incorrect. "Davis - The Settlers of Salem WV," pp. 378-79, reports his birthplace as Philadelphia PA, with immigration to Western Virginia abt 1800. The 1860 Census also shows his birthplace as Pennsylvania.)
