But age 28 given at time of July 1919 marriage would put birth in about 1892, and age 27 and 37 in 1920 and 1930 Census would put it about 1893. Birth date given in WW I Draft Registration as Aug 18 1890, and in WW II Draft Registration as Aug 18 1888. Doddridge County birth records show his birth as Aug 18 1888 at Big Isaac.
