- Earl Ross began his working career as a member of the Civilian Conservation Corps' Camp Seneca and Camp Greenbrier at Hart's Run, Greenbrier County, WV. After his military service in WW II, he became a dozer operator in southern West Virginia. He returned to Doddridge County to work on numerous dam and road projects. He worked the last few years at Willow Island Power Plant.
