    • 1880 Census, Doddridge Co, WV (McClellan District), enumerated on Jun 15 1880:
      William S. Justus, 27, stone mason; wife Missouri, 18; son Oce, 7 mo, b. Oct; father John, 61, farmer, married, cannot read/write.
      For Missouri and John, the column was marked indicating "Maimed, Crippled, Bedridden, or otherwise disabled."
      For Missouri, the entry "Disease of kidney" was made in the column labeled "Is the person [On the day of the Enumerator's visit] sick or temporarily disabled, so as to be unable to attend to ordinary business or duties? If so, what is the sickness or disability?"

      1910 Census, Wood Co, WV (Lubeck District), enumerated on Apr 25 1910:
      William F. Justice, 58, farmer, married 16 yrs (2nd marriage); wife Rebecka, 53, married 16 yrs (1st marriage); dau Cordelia G, 18, single; father John, 82, widowed.
      NOTE: The next enumerated household on one side was that of Elie Justice (48, married 1 yr, 1st marriage, farmer) and his wife Roda T (47, married 1 yr, 2nd marriage, no children). On the other side was the household of Rebecca's brother, Henry H. Knight.
