    • Daniel H. Gaston and his wife Nancy Davisson came to Upper Run in present-day Doddridge County WV in 1843, along with his two brothers, John Hugh and Eli Morris, and their sister Anna M. Gaston. Daniel and Nancy are buried at the Gaston-Hart Cemetery in an unmarked grave beside their son Samuel Eli Gaston.
