A handwritten note in the top margin of the marriage record states: "Please Do Not Publish." Signifance of that notation is unclear, as the Minister's Return or Endorsement was completed by Charles Hume Funk, a Christian Minister, showing that the ceremony took place in Clarksburg on Jan 12th (or 17th, due to handwriting) 1925.
