Notes - Amzi Williford Gaston died the day after his second son, Amzi W. Gaston II, was born. "The young widow continued to live in her home near Duncan for eight years, when death struck again, two-fold -- Jamie Died, and also her mother, Jane McConnell Peden. Then she and Amzi II went to her father's home where she led a long and useful life in her family and community." [2]
