Event Notes
Note (1) Her obituary states that she was born on Oct 7 1896 in Enterprise, Harrison
County, WV, while her birth record (a delayed entry filed by her uncle Simon
Allen on Jan 22 1943) states that she was born at Elk Lick, Doddridge County,
WV, on Oct 7 1897, a daughter of William M. Wright and Ruth Allen.  But both of
those dates are in conflict with the birth date of her sister Lenora B. Wright,
shown in her conventional birth record as born on Mar 17 1897 in Doddridge
County, daughter of William M. & Ruth M. Wright.  In the 1910 Census, Ila
Wright, age 10,  was residing in Enterprise with Jesse and Taylor Martin
(brothers) and Taylor's wife Mary, her relationship to any of them not stated.
Note (2) 1910 Census, Harrison Co, WV (Clay District), enumerated on Apr 25 1910 on
Bridge Street in West Enterprise:
