Event Notes
Note (1) Social Security records and his birth record (a delayed entry filed on Feb 6
1943 by his sister Ala Wright Starkey) state his birth date as Nov 6 1900.  But
that date is in conflict with his older sister.  The 1900 Census shows his
mother with a son, Ai Wright, born Nov 1899, for whom no other record has been
found.  It is likely that Ai and Robert are one and the same, with Ai becoming
known as Robert and his birth date misstated by one year when entered into the
record.  Robert was age 10 in the 1910 Census, enumerated in May.
