Event Notes
Note (1) Birthplace given in death record as Greene County, Pennsylvania.  But census
records indicate Virginia/West Virginia.  Although his marriage record states
his birthplace as Tyler County, it is more likely that he was born in Monongalia
County, where he was with his family in the 1860 Census.  In that census, in
which he was the youngest family member, his birthplace was given as Virginia,
while all others' were Pennsylvania.
Note (2) Burial location given in death record as Fairview Cemetery.  But his
headstone is at Wilbur Cemetery.
