Note (2) Age in 1920 Census would put bith in about 1898. But birth date was given in 1900 Census as Apr 1900, while her 1916 marriage record indicates a birth date of May 2 1900. But her March 1930 marriage record gives her age as 26, putting birth in about 1904. In the 1930 Census enumerated the following month, her age was 29. In her 1948 marriage record, her birth date was given as May 2 1917, age 21, apparently in an effort to bring her age more in line with her much young husband's. In the end, her SSDI entry shows her birth date the same as that given in her first marriage record, May 2 1900.Name Index
