But death record shows it as Jul 11 1889, and date on headstone is 1889, while 1900 Census shows it as May 1892. Marriage record identifies his parents as Harvey Burton & Mary Bland. But birth record show his mother as Alice Holiday, and death record shows her as Carrie Bland. His widowed father was in Roy's household in the 1940 Census, age 74, b. ca 1866. Note (2) Age 21 at time of 1913 marriage would put birth in about 1892, in keeping with the 1891 date on her headstone. But age 14 in the 1910 Census puts it in about 1896, and her birth date is given in the 1900 Census as Mar 1896. Note (3) Death date on headstone is 1926, but husband's marital status was widowed at the time of his Sep 1924 marriage. Cora and Burton are buried together at Willis Cemetery, while his second wife, Alcinda, is buried at Blandville Cemetery. Note (4) Not with family in 1940 Census. Note (5) Age in marriage record would put birth in about 1921, but age 11 in the 1930 Census would put birth in about 1919.
