Event Notes Note (1) Birth date given in Jan 1933 death record as Aug 17 1852, age 79y 5m 10d, which is clearly incorrect, as is father's surname given as Harden rather than Harter. She was 17 in the 1880 Census, her birth date was given as Aug 1864 (age 35) in the 1900 Census (enumerated Jun 1900), and was specified as Aug 17 1863 in her marriage record. Note (2) Birth date on headstone is 1860. But the 1900 Census shows it as Feb 1864, while Harrison County birth records indicate June 1864, both of which conform to age 16 in the 1880 Census. Age 60y 2m 11d in his death record calculates to a birth date of Feb 7 1862. Name on headstone is Mose Harter. Note (3) Birth date on headstone is 1876, but the 1900 Census shows it as Apr 1872, and her age in marriage and census records also put her birth between 1871 and 1873. Birthplace give in 1888 marriage record as Monongalia County, but in 1897 marriage record as Harrison County. Note (4) Infomant on death record: Charles Gatrell, Salem, W.Va.
