Event Notes
Note (1) Birth date on headstone is 1860.  But the 1900 Census shows it as Feb 1864,
while Harrison County birth records indicate June 1864, both of which conform to
age 16 in the 1880 Census.  Age 60y 2m 11d in his death record calculates to a
birth date of Feb 7 1862.  Name on headstone is Mose Harter.
Note (2) Birth date given in 1900 Census as Jun 1849, in Indiana.  But she was not in
the 1850 Census, and her death record states Jun 12 1855, while the date on her
headstone is 1859.  A age 7 in the 1860 Census puts birth in about 1853, which
appears to be the most accurate gauge.
