Event Notes
Note (1) Death record states death date as Aug 9 1941 at age 92y1m24d, with birth date
stated as Jun 14 1849.  But immediate family reports his death date as Aug 7
1941, which would also make the age conform with the birth date.  Since the
death record also states the date of his burial as Aug 8 1941, it is clear that
the reported death date is incorrect and should be Aug 7 1941.
Note (2) No headstone, but a small homemade wooden marker gives age at death as 92y 1m
24d.
