Note (1) Patterson Park Memorial Hospital
Note (2) Military records show that George W. Weekly joined for duty on Jan 31 1862 in
West Union.  Mustered in on the same day in Clarksburg.  Mustered out on Feb 5
1865 in Wheeling by virtue of expiration of term.  His duties consisted mainly
of guarding bridges and tunnels of the Northwestern Virginia Raidlroad.  His
orginial unit, Company M, was later transferred to Company O by virtue of War
Department Special Order No. 72.
NOTE:  Although military records consistently show his name with the spelling
Weekly, non-military records consistently show it with the Weekley spelling.
