Cavalry, on 1 Aug 1863 in West Union. He mustered-in at Parkersburg on 29 Aug 1863 as a Ptivate, age 18. Mustered-out 8 Mar 1864 from General Hospital in Grafton. On 5 Sep 1864 in Clarksburg, he enlisted as a Private in Co C, 6th W.Va. Inf. 5 Sept 1864. He mustered-in on 8 Sep 1864 in Wheeling. The Mar/Apr 1865 muster roll showed him absent without leave since 19 Apr 1865. Mustered-out on 10 Jun 1865 in Wheeling and was docked one month's pay.Name Index
