NOTE: It is known from the street names on the enumeration form that this residence was located in the community of Nutter Fort, near Clarksburg. 1930 Census, Madison Co, Indiana (Anderson Twp), enumerated on May 8 1930: William McGarry, 41, house carpenter; wife Alice, 34; dau Helene, 12; dau Dorthy, 6. All born in West Virginia. NOTE: The next enumerated household was that of Haymond Davis (35, b. WVa, interior decorator), his wife Chloe (30, b. WVa), and their six children, all born in West Virginia except for the youngest, who was born in Texas. As the daughter of William McGarry's half-sister Rosa Geneva McKeown, Hattie Chloe Nicholas Davis was William McGarry's niece. 1940 Census, Snohomish Co, Washington (City of Everett), enumerated on Apr 6 1940: William McGarry, 51, b.
