"Davis - The Settlers of Salem WV," p. 114, reports that Louisa Jane Skinner was born Sep 13 1868 and died in 1919. But she was present for the 1920 Census, single, age 45, which would put her birth in about 1875. The 1900 Census, however, states her birth date as Sep 1871, age 28, while her death record states Sep 7 1867.
