    Mary Gaston Gee (p. 29) reports the birth/death dates of William Gresham as Jul 28 1818 - Sep 13 1873, and those of his mother, Sarah Jane Nesbitt, as Feb 1 1833 - Oct 14 1898. The reported birth dates are an absolute impossibility, but what was intended is not clear. It is possible that the dates should be reversed, but that is only speculation.
