    Notes:

    Although he had no formal training, "Dice" Husk was an accomplished musician, playing many instruments well. He also taught music, gave music lessons in his home, and wrote many songs. The family and many of their friends spent evenings at the Husk home in Summers, Doddridge County, playing instruments and singing. Dice and wife Lora were members of men's and women's quartets, respectively, which traveled the area and sang gospel music.
