- Although the local undertaker filed a death record for him in Doddridge County, Charles Harshbarger's obituary states that he "died at the Ebenezer Sanitarium at Bush Colorado, Thursday, Nov. 18, 1915, aged 31 years." Correcting for typographical errors, the location of his death was more accurately Eben Ezer Sanitorium in Brush, Colorado. His middle initial appears to be A in the 1900 Census, and is also A in his obituary. But it's L in another version of his obituary, in the 1910 Census, and in his death record.
