    • In 1849, Sarah Anne Husk and her husband Selby Wade Jr. bought a 50-acre farm on Pedlar Run from their brother-in-law Horatio Britton (husband of Sarah's sister Mary Husk). In 1851, the Wades sold the property to John Core and moved to Ritchie County.
