      Identified as George Nutter, white male, farmer, married, died Dec 1 1902 at Bear Run, age 38y 10m 16d, cause of death gall stone & obstruction of bowel, burial at Oxbow. (Note: Age at death calculates to a birth date of Jan 15 1864. But date on headstone is Jan 15 1863, which also more closely conforms to age given in census records. His birth record, however, shows his birth date as Jan 22 1863. According to information provided by a direct descendant, his death was the result of falling down a hill after being rammed by a bull.)
