      Identified as Georgia Smith Jones, white female, widowed, res. Smithburg, born Sep 16 1867 in WVa, dau of F. M. F. Smith & Julann Neely; died May 15 1949 in Smithburg, age 84y 7m 6d, burial at Archbold Cemetery. Informant: Mrs. Eleanor Cook. (Note: The Sep 16 1867 birth date is inconsistent with the birth date established in other records. It probably resulted from the informant, her daughter, confusing her mother's birth date with her marriage date, which was Sep 16 1897. The age at death calculates to a birth date of Oct 9 1864, which conforms to 1864 birth date on her gravestone and the Oct 1864 birth date given in the 1900 Census.)
