    • The 1859 birth date on her headstone (erected by a grandson many years after her death) appears to be incorrect. Age 8 in the 1870 Census would put her birth in about 1862, age 19 in 1880 puts it in 1862, and the 1900 Census shows it as Feb 1863, as does her death record. Findagrave reports it as Feb 10 1863. Her birthplace is given as Randolph County in her marriage record, but her death record states Lewis County.
