She was an active member of the WV and Ritchie County Farm Bureaus and was the 2009 recipient of the WV Farm Heritage Award. LaVonne was a 4H All-Star and a former 4H leader of the Washburn Warriors 4H Club. She was also very involved with the Ritchie County JAM Camp. [1]
