- Grover "Buck" Mullenix was a highly decorated military man having spent a 26 year career as part of the US Army. He served in the Korean War and in 2 tours during the Vietnam War- all combat tours. For his service, Buck was awarded the Silver Star, numerous Bronze Stars, multiple Purple Hearts, the Valor Medal, and held the highest medal the South Vietnamese awarded. He was also a member of the Civil Service in Virginia for 12 years, a member of the Parkersburg VFW, and the Parkersburg American Legion Post #15
