    Notes 
    • William Green left England at the age of twenty, landed at the port of Philadelphia prior to 1700, and subsequently married Joanna Reeder. They had eleven children, the second being Joseph (father of Sarah). William Green was one of the first judges of the first court of Hunterdon County in 1714, judge of the court of common pleas in quarter sessions in Old Hunterdon County from 1714 to 1721. He was also the first assessor of Hunterdon County.
