Teacher at the West Virginia Industrial School for Boys, Pruntytown, Taylor Co, WV, for nine years. He served 30 years as a teacher and principal in Doddridge, Wood and Taylor Counties. He was also a program specialist for the West Virginia State Department of Education for ten years. He retired to Amarillo, TX, having previously resided in the Sunnyside community of West Union, WV.
