B & O GIVES CAR LOAD OF CINDERS TO POSTMASTER
A few day ago, Postmaster H. T. Davis asked the B. & O. Railroad company for a car load of cinders to put in the road below the railraod from the track to John Henry's stable, so that the mail, when it is thrown from the trains, would not fall in the mud. The railroad company placed a car load of cinders on the local siding at once, and Mr. Henry placed them on the road free of charge. These cinders are quite a benefit to Mr. Henry in additon to the fact that they keep the mail sacks from getting wet and muddy.
