      Identified as Anna Davis, white female, born Jun 15 1898 in Doddridge Co, dau of Clared (sic) & Byrd (sic) Davis. Informant: Byrd Davis. (Note: Based on the birth date and similarity of names, this must be the Honna Davis, born Jun 1898, listed as a daughter in the household of Claud D. Davis & Ruhama Bird Starkey Davis in the 1900 Census of Doddridge County. This birth record is a typed transcription of the original handwritten birth ledger.)

      The author provides no birth or dates, stating only that the child died at age 15. With establishment of the June 1898 birth date through census and birth records, the conclusion is that the child died in about 1913. We have found no death record for her under any variation of her name.
