Age 6 in the 1870 Census and age 14 in the 1880 Census would put it in about 1864 or 1866, while the 1900 Census shows it as May 1864. But the date on his headstone is 1865.
      His birthplace is given in his death record as Harrisville (Ritchie County), but his marriage record shows it as Harrison County, consistent with the 1870 Census and the birthplace of his older siblings.
