      Identified as Janey Harte, b. Mar 3 1899 at Cabin Run, dau of Thomas Harte (b. Doddridge Co, occup farmer) & M. Cathrine Hileman, this being the mother's eighth child. (Note: This record is a typed entry in a ledger-style record book, presumably transcribed from a handwritten entry. Since no other record has been found identifying her as Janey, it is assumed that that was a clerical error for the child otherwise known as Nellie Gay Hart, born the same date to the same parents.)
