    • George H. Thomas's obituary states that he was buried "at family cemetery some miles back from old homestead." Footstone markers with the initials of George H. Thomas and his wife Sarah are found at Sigler Cemetery. The markers have no dates. It is unclear how Sigler Cemetery got its name. Thomas Bond (1792-1862) refers to it as the Adam Thomas Grave Yard in his 1862 will. Thomas Bond owned the land and left it to his son George Bond and Tobias Moore.
