    • Although other researchers report her death date as Aug 18 1898, and her headstone also bears the death year 1898, Rebecca Nutter Miller of Oxford is shown on the 1890 Veterans Survey in Southwest District of Doddridge County as being the widow of Civil War veteran Andrew Miller. Military records also show that she filed for a widow's pension on Aug 4 1888, two weeks after Andrew's death. We have found no death record for her.
