      Thomas D. Pritchard, 52, farmer; Mary, 58; Jerushia A, 22; Thomas T, 21; Margaret E. Bennington, 13, domestic servant.
      Reports by some researchers of Thomas Dickerson Pritchard's death in Lewis County in 1862/63 are clearly incorrect.
      The adjacent household on one side was that of Thomas & Mary's son Elias R. Pritchard, and on the other side that of Mary's first cousin William Robert Lowther.

Also married on the same date by the same minister was Mary Lowther's cousin, Juliet Lowther, and William Smallwood Wilson. Some researchers have erroneously reported Thomas & Mary's marriage as having occurred in Ritchie County on Feb 11 1843.
