    • Undated newspaper clipping of obituary for Zachous Swiger gives his birthdate, but neither his age nor date of death. It did state that he was married for 52 years to Clementine Boyce, who survived him.

    • While his obituary twice states his name as Zachous, a newspaper article about his son John identifies him as Zacharias, while John's obituary identifies him as Zaccheus. Obituary of son G. Walter Swiger identifies him as Zachius.
