He served as pastor of the Chestnut Grove, Pullman Charge, Meadow Bridge, Tallmansville, College Street, Glenville, Knottsville, Newlon, Shinnston, Hilltop, Troy, Reader, Meadowview, South Buckhannon Mission, and Gould churches. He retired from the Methodist Conference in June 1986, but he remained active in the ministry and attended the Faith Tabernacle Church.
