      In its entirety:
      Harmon Smith, who lives on the head of Knight's Fork, Little Flint, Doddridge County, died Sunday March 6, 1904 of typhoid fever. He was born April 12, 1852. Mr. Smith was a man of healthy build, but he could not withstand the ravages of that dreaded disease. The interment took place at the Coleman cemetery Monday. He leaves a wife and large family. He was an excellent citizen and had many friends.
