- Guy Drain was a World War II Veteran of the United States Army, serving in the Marianna Islands in the South Pacific, and was recalled to active duty in 1950 to Fort Campbell, KY, as a medical technician to administer to our Korean War casualties in the Fort Campbell Hospital. He was First Sergeant of Hq. & Hq. Company, 1092d Engr. Bn., West Virginia National Guard of Parkersburg, WV, retiring at the rank of Master Sergeant with thirty years of military service.
