However ages 33, 53 and 62 in the 1850, 1870 and 1880 censuses put his birth in about 1817 or 1818. No birth, marriage or death record for him has been found. The location of his grave is also not known. Findagrave reports his birth as March 1814, and his birthplace as Marion County, basis for which is not clear.
