    • Settled in Upper Freehold (now Millstone) Twp, Monmouth Co, NJ, about 1741, where in 1758 he was owner of a grist and fulling mill and a member of Dr. William Tennent's Freehold Presbyterian congregation. He was a subscriber in 1758 to the fund for a parsonage for Allentown Church. He deeded a tract of land to his son Hugh in 1793. [3, 4]
