      NOTE: Sarah is Eli's second wife, Sarah Corbin, widow of Rezin W. Criss. James is Eli's son by his first wife, Mary M. Wilson. Louisa should have been listed as Louisa Criss, as she was Sarah's daughter by her first husband. Sarah had at least six other children between 1836 and 1850. Their whereabouts for this census is not known.
